qKZ/tRS duality via quantum $K$-theoretic counts

چکیده

We show that normalized quantum K-theoretic vertex functions for cotangent bundles of partial flag varieties are the eigenfunctions trigonometric Ruijsenaars-Schneider (tRS) Hamiltonians. Using recently observed relations between Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov (qKZ) equations and tRS integrable system we derive a nontrivial identity with relative insertions.

Localization C∗-algebras and K-theoretic Duality

Based on the localization algebras of Yu, and their subsequent analysis by Qiao and Roe, we give a new picture of KK-theory in terms of time-parametrized families of (locally) compact operators that asymptotically commute with appropriate representations.

K - band Galaxy Counts

We present new counts of eld galaxies from more than 20 square arcminutes to a limiting magnitude of K=20 and from 2 square arcminutes to K=21.5. At the faintest magnitudes the counts are slightly higher than those reported previously, though still consistent given the small numbers of galaxies in the two samples.

Number counts against K-corrections

Having based on the analysis of Pietronero and collaborators the galaxy number counts can be considered as an evidence of that the geometry of the universe is euclidean and that the K-corrections are absent. In such a universe measuring the cosmological redshift of the object and measuring the flux from the object are inconsistent. It is considered the model of the universe which describes the ...

Benson's algorithm for nonconvex multiobjective problems via nonsmooth Wolfe duality

‎In this paper‎, ‎we propose an algorithm to obtain an approximation set of the (weakly) nondominated points of nonsmooth multiobjective optimization problems with equality and inequality constraints‎. ‎We use an extension of the Wolfe duality to construct the separating hyperplane in Benson's outer algorithm for multiobjective programming problems with subdifferentiable functions‎. ‎We also fo...

Conceptual Design Technique Employing Graph Theoretic Duality

The work reported in the paper employs a general approach of associating engineering domains with general discrete mathematical models, called – graph representations. Once the engineering system is represented by a graph representation, all the reasoning processes upon the system are substituted by a reasoning of a more mathematical nature over the graph representation. Accordingly, graph repr...
